Good start, guys. :?
Airbus can't catch a break.
Superficial? Hmm the tires are pretty vital unless you're not planning on taxiing, taking off or landing.Quote:
"The damage is very limited, it's superficial in the sense that there is possibly damage to tires, but nothing to the structure of the aircraft," said Singapore Airlines spokesman Stephen Forshaw.
I would ssay that tire are superficial in the sense that they can be replaced with some ease in a faster amount of time than if they clipped a wing or had a dent or something.
I s'pose.

Sounds like it didn't go off the runway, but rather it was being pushed back from the terminal, and the tug had a problem, and the a/c rolled off into the grass.
Mel almost just got my life insurance $$$ after I nearly choked to death on broccoli after clicking on that link. haha
So the tug broke on the 380? I am eager to learn more.
Moose, thanks for the link to the french site! I was able to hone my skills!
I, like Phil, nearly bought hte farm as I choked on my coffee. Reminded me of one of Phils old airport toy threads . LOL
