I was thinking about heading out to JFK for some spotting.
So I checked weather.com in the beginning of the day it will be cloudy/showers. But around mid-day it will supposedly clear up.

But the humidity will be around 50%, so for all you weather guys out there do you think it would be worth it to head out tomorrow or will it probably be hazy?

Haze at this time of year is not likely at all...the dewpoint isn't likely to rise above 30, and it has to get into the high 50s before haze becomes an issue. If it does in fact clear up in the afternoon, you could get a couple of good hours in before the sun goes down. I wouldn't count on it clearing up though.
So if you were me and it came down to the go, no go decsion would you go?

Hmmm, 1800z (1300local) sky clear, visibility better than 6, winds 310 @ 11. If it were a go/no-go decision, I'd go.
If I had to decide now, I'd probably go...broken clouds can make for some cool shots, and it won't be worse than that. But I'd wait until the morning before making a go/no-go decision.Quote:
