So that means their planes will still be seen, right?
another 727 operator bites the dust. and a good one, good people. I flew their last DC-3 back in the 90's,but left before they evolved into jets. may they all find new,and better seats pronto ! God bless them !
Yes you might see them around they will probably operate like Ameristar. And just but here and there out of the blue and depart 3 hours later and won't be back for a year.
i read this the other day, came around suddenly. didn't know they were in trouble to begin with. shame...
Yea its too bad....
As 727C47 say we have lost another 727 operator. Unless they use the 727s for charter. Its amazing how in less that 10 yeas 727s have basically become extinct.

I've seen them at FRG a number of times.
They used to come in fairly regularly, carrying horses.Quote:

Wonder who will do the horse run now? FedEx maybe????
Well they still might do them, it says they will still operate some charter flights. Its daily service, such as at EWR is stopped. Capitol Cargo has picked up their route to/from Bermuda daily.Quote:

Didn't those used to be run by Express.net? Are they out of business now as well?Quote:

Yes, Express.net did run some of the horse flights - this is from October 2006, actually the same morning as the last Tomcat flight.Quote:
