Greetings from Frankfurt (Germany)

Hi @ all,

my name is Malte, I´m 19 years old and I´m from Frankfurt.

At first.............sorry for my horrible english, I know it´s not the best english
but I give my best. :D :D
Me and a friend of mine want to spend our winter-holidays in NY and of course we want to spend
one or two days at JFK int. Airport because we are enthusiastic spotters.
So I´ve a few questions concerning your Airport....
Which RWY is used most of all RWY´s?? Is it dependent on the wheather or the time (for example)??

Hi Malte! Welcome to the site! Great photos, thank you for sharing. It is great seeing some of what Frankfurt has got to offer.

Jetblue, American and Delta are "based" at JFK Airport, and have the most operations there.

LGA another NYC Airport is a mix of all the airlines together pretty much, but AA and US airways seems to have the most operations.

At EWR, which is in Newark, New Jersy but another claimed NYC Airport, hands down it would be Continental Airlines.

At ISP, which is not considered a NYC Airport but in the New York Area, this would be Southwest Airlines.

Malte welcome! The winter is a fantastic time of year to spot at JFK! The light is perfect almost all day. As for runways its WAY WAY to early to tell. It all depends on wind at the time so I wouldn't even begin to worry about that until you are here in NY.

My next Trip is from the 15 of september to the 16 of september.
Amsterdam schiphol is my destination so i get a lot of nwa widebodies^^
