Competitor of the 787?.....I think not. Gotta love the news :mrgreen:Quote:
competitor of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the A380 is designed for non-stop travel across vast distances, such as London to Singapore.
some people just seem to always think it's boeing vs. airbus....
For once we will be heading to CT for spotting. I am looking forward to this. Please keep the info coming...
I saw that as well and thought the same thing... Might have to do a trip to BDL to take look at her.Quote:

Additionally they had the last scheduled Tri-Star service in our area (Trade Winds), some unique airlines (MK 747s) and National Guard base.
They also had the first visit of a AN225 to the US I believe.
Glad the Whale Jet will make an appearance now as well.

Confirmed - October 2, 2007 :P

Hm, shame it's a Tuesday/Wednesday.
Guess I'll be missing some school!
Anyone still going?
I'm planning on heading up there tomorrow night and seeing her arrive on Tuesday morning.
A lot of us took a day off from work when it came to JFK, so you wouldn't be the first :DQuote:

Well I went up last night and stayed at a Day's Inn right by the airport and met up with Raj earlier this morning. It was a shame the weather was bad when she came in and of course it opened up literally 3 minutes after she had touched down.
But finally I have seen the beast and she is gorgeous!
A special thanks to Raj for showing us around and helping us out. :)
Here is my photo of the A380 F-WWEA! :borat:
