NASCAR Sues AT&T
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19278880/
NASCAR has an agreement with Nextel for sponsorships, including logos on cars. Cingular was one telecomm company that was grandfathered in. But with AT&T rebranding Cingular into AT&T, NASCAR is trying to prevent them form putting AT&T logos on cars.
AT&T had already sued NASCAR, and now NASCAR is suing AT&T.
I can solve their battle with an easy explanation.
THERE IS NO CELLULAR RECEPTION IN TRAILER PARKS.
Thank you.

HAHAHAHAHA! Nice clarification there Phil!

AT&T got a court order about 3 weeks ago to change logos on the cars. Here's how it looked at Pocono last week.

This case is far from over. It goes right to the heart of many sponsorship deals in NASCAR. For years, when Winston was the series sponsor, no other cigarette brands could sponsor individual teams. The same situation applied for Unocal, and now Sunoco gasoline as series sponsors. Other fuel companies sponsor teams, but under different products or brands - Pennzoil for Shell, Havoline oil for Texaco.

I must say it is a very interesting situation. I like watching how it unfolds.
