I was shocked to read in Time that the average American watches 4 hours and 35 minutes of TV a day.
I barely watch that much in a week.
How do you compare?

about the same, it depends on the weather and plans I have
Including the shows that I buy on iTunes to watch weekly (which have just come to an end for the season), MAYBE 2 hours worth PER WEEK.
I do not know. I watch about 15 minutes total and that is turning on the TV in the tower to check baseball scores. Other than that the only CRT I watch is a radar setup we have and the CRT on the airport computers lol.
I have the TV on a lot, not that I'm always watching, but if I'm reading the paper or working on the computer, I usually have it on in the background (typing this right now being a notable exception). Excluding Mets, news & auto racing, there's probably about 4 - 5 hours a week that I really watch.
at work, the tv may be on but i don't really pay attention to it. usually, i watch 2 hours a week. NCIS and The Unit on tusdays. although, lately i've been buying the DVDs so i don't even watch them on tv anymore... i did watch 24, but it's started to annoy me so i'm back to getting it via netflix.
Well, my TV is running alot, but I am never watching it, so I would say maybe 15 minutes a day I am actually watching it...
