The new livery will be applied to an A330-200 that the airline is expected to take delivery of in April. I'm sure we will see her at JFK.
Not sure I like it...

I don't know - I think I like it better then the current look. At least it will be something new at JFK :)
I like the new scheme but I think ".com" titles in general are pretty lame.
Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another classy one bites the dust!
My God!
Its like someone burned out my eyes with flaming acid!!!!!!
VERY disappointing.

I have thought that LTU needed a new scheme for a while, but that is certainly not the direction that they should be going in. I expected something more mature and subtle.
I have always wondered how an airline can justify going form something like this to what we see proposed by the airline. I have always wanted to sit as a fly on the wall in their marketing departments conference room and hear their rationalizations for finding a scheme like this acceptable.

Red and gray do not match. I don't care what anyone says.
Ah, the swoosh! How original.
Marketing Dept: "You need to brand your product to look like all the others..."
Sheep...all sheep.
No matter what, I still think the old livery stands out more. Way too classic to simply abandon it. Also a slight modification might have done the trick. LTU's current livery ROCKS!
I agree with you.
If you have a winning model why change it dramatically.

LTU.COM.... DotCom..... has that real 2nd rate ring to it....
Hey, we're not an airline.. but we sell tickets.... we have a website...buy something...we're desperate.
You ever read or hear Google or Ebay mentioned on the news or the Financial page? "DOTCOM" is not even mentioned.
Ever live in a town or city with .COM at the end of it? Buy your food at a restaurant with .COM at the end of it? Go to a school with .COM in the name?
Marketing consultants and graphic designers run the show today in most businesses, I am sure they found this 'fresh,' 'young looking,' and 'internet friendly' and gave themselves all a pat on the back.
I can't believe that you folks like their current swcheme. Maybe if the colors MATCHED it would be better.
