Iberia adds frequencies to JFK

Iberia will increase JFK-MAD from 11x weekly to 14x weekly during the summer months.

I was debating whether or not to post this, this was the schedule for the past two summers. But double the A340-600 on some days means great news for me! :)

The way the press release is worded, it sounded like this is the first time JFK-MAD is 2x daily.

For the past two summers at least it has always gone 2xdaily.

With JFK ramping up, and the new service to IAD and BOS; where is service being cut? They haven't taken a new Widebus since last April, so we can rule out new deliveries.

Audeli is taking delivery of two A340-300s to put on GIG and SDQ I believe. Which then frees up to Iberia A340-300s.
