Lufthansa A340-600 to JFK this Summer!

For summer 2007 Lufthansa will be flying the A340-600 on the MUC-JFK route!

oooh cant wait!! do you happen to know what date they'll start bring them in? maybe i can get one before i go back to LA for summer vacation from school.

Very cool news. So that means we might see it sooner as an equipment sub

I just booked a tripp to FLR next Oct. and we are flying home through MUC on the 340-600

Flying JFK-FRA-FLR 747-400, to RJ-85
home FLRMUC-JFK DHC-8-400 to A340-600

For those who care note that unlike VS and CX, LH apparently opted not to put PTVs in economy on the A346, so even if it's a new aircraft don't expect state of the art IFE.
