With the A380 popping up all around the world, I figure it is bound to visit New York at some point over the next few months, no?
Anyone have any idea when that would be?

Phil, I think the main reason it visits a city is to woe potential customers or show off the airplane to those who already bought it. Since the only airline of any size actually based in NYC is B6 I would not hold your breath. The only NY area based carrier that might even be remotely interested would be Atlas ! Just my two cents !
LGA777
With JFK being an A380-ready airport, I'm sure it will visit before it enters service for training/testing, no?
As Ron said most of the flights have been to customers or potential customers. I'm sure Memphis will see the A380 before JFK, FedEx might be upset if they don't get a visit, lol.
I was thinking that LAX would get it before any other US city because of one of the Asian carriers playing around with it.
Ahhh! Does somebody want to shoot the A380?! HA! If you want, I can share some of my photos with you, just a little charity work on my part.... :DQuote:

Probably spend a few days here on the way to or from Memphis.
We'll see. :D

I think LAx is behind in it renovations for the A380 so it might not make it there for a bit
