anyone know the identifier (if there was one) for the old mitchell field? i've tried a google search but haven't had much luck. :(

From what I can tell it never got one.

If it had one, of course now it's defunct. But having closed in 1961, it should have had one.

I THINK that it was WYA, because this old document references it as Mitchel's "Airdrome Control Station", which I assume just means Mitchel as its own aerodrome.
